Sow your seeds directly in the grow box 🌱
Place the peat round at the bottom of the box and add 20 cl of water. Leave the water to absorb for an hour, the peat will increase in volume up to seven times. Be sure to separate the clumps at the end of the process.
Then plant the seeds 1 cm deep and cover them with peat.
And there you have it, all you have to do is wait for it to grow!
When to sow your cherry tomato seeds?
Sow your tomato seeds between March and April, approximately 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost of winter. You also have the possibility of sowing your seeds all year round in a warmly heated and well-lit room.
How?
Cover the seeds with a layer of seedling soil of about 1.5 mm and water lightly using a plant mister. Once germination is complete, separate the plants and transplant them into larger pots.
What is the ideal temperature?
At a constant temperature of 21-23°C, tomato seeds generally need 7-14 days to germinate.
